About this Opportunity

Contact+ Peer Sex Education Internship is a summer program to learn how to become a peer educator!
- Become trained peer sex educator
- Learn about sexual health topics
- Build presentation, mentorship and leadership skills
- Prepare for high school and beyond
- Participate in tabling opportunities in the community and presentations for middle schoolers
Who: Incoming 10th-12th graders from schools/sites that partner with Contact+ YWCA
Dates: July 28th-August 21st
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays (Mandatory). Fridays (Optional Field Trips)
Time: 10am-3pm
Location: Midtown YWCA
Transportation: Bus tokens provided but must be able to get to and from program
Benefits: YWCA gym membership, money, snacks and lunch

  • Hourly wage or stipend amount: $300
  • Total paid/stipended hours: 48 hours
