Added Supports

We know that Americorps VISTA  can be inaccessible for people due to the living allowance. That’s why at C3 Twin Cities we offer extra benefits to do our part in changing the face of Americorps

C3 Twin Cities Added Support-

  • Transit Support – $50 fuel card or 31 day transit pass each month
  • Housing Support– $200 monthly housing stipend ($2,400 total during your term)
  • Cohort experience–You will go through your term of service with 15 other people. Your cohort will serve as a social and professional network. We strive to provide a welcoming environment that cultivates relationship and team building within our VISTA cohort. Many of our VISTAs consider the cohort to be the most valuable aspect of their VISTA experience.
  • Professional Development– C3 TwinCities VISTAs meet bi-weekly to prepare you for success during your year of service and beyond.
  • Professional development budget – $400 Budget. Your site sets aside this fund for you to use to deepen knowledge and skills in a tailored way. Funds have been used to attend conferences, to take classes, to purchase computer programs, etc. Additionally, we provide a weekly professional development newsletter, connecting you to opportunities and events in the Twin Cities.
