C3 Twin Cities VISTA Positions fall into three main areas:

Navigating the countless AmeriCorps VISTA positions in the Twin Cities can feel overwhelming. To make that process easier for you, C3 Twin Cities has conveniently organized our positions into three categories. Please note that these categorizations reflect primary responsibilities, however, it is common for all of these aspects of nonprofit management to be present in each position. Read positions descriptions carefully to better understand the full scope of each role.

  1. Marketing and Communications – VISTAs serving in these positions will have primary roles focused on increasing the visibility of their host organizations. Typically these positions will require the development of social media plans and websites, analysis of current reach with a consistent eye for sustainability after service.
  2. Community Engagement and Outreach VISTAs serving in these positions will have primary roles involving research, design and implementation of engagement practices with key stakeholder to ensure community voice is involved in decision making.
  3. Program Development and Evaluation – VISTAs serving in these positions will have primary roles that develop new programs, build upon existing programs
